I've had the privilege of walking with some of the greatest Moko Jumbie troupes. From each one, I've carried away a different lesson, a unique rhythm, and a deeper respect for the art.
Born and raised in the beautiful U.S. Virgin Islands, my journey with the Moko Jumbie began at just 9 years old. Moko Jumbie didn't just become a hobby—it became my positive outlet, my discipline, and the anchor that changed the trajectory of my life.
Now, with years of dancing and performing under my belt, my mission has evolved from learning the art form to fiercely protecting it. I founded Legacy Moko Jumbies to ensure that this sacred, vibrant piece of our Caribbean culture continues to thrive for generations to come.
